*****Lexington Winter Weekend 2007: Two Seminars by Pam on one DVD

To Hell and Back

The standard approach of many Church of God groups to the doctrine of an ever-burning Hell is to present it to the public in a brief, dry booklet or two, or an occasional magazine article, and leave it at that. In some ways, it seems to be viewed as a somewhat minor doctrine compared to, for instance, the importance of the Sabbath or refuting the notion of the Trinity.

In this seminar, Pam shares her conviction that this is a big mistake. The doctrine of Hell is one of the most pivotal doctrines in Christianity. And the perspective that the COGs have traditionally had on this doctrine is one of the most important distinctions that we have. This is because it strikes at the very nature of God. Is He a monster who would pre-destine people to permanent torment before they were ever born, or consign them to Hell for not accepting Jesus as savior … even though they never heard of Him? This seminar emphasizes ways in which we can share the truth about this Hellish doctrine.

*****CEM FOT 2007: 2 DVD set of four seminars by Pam, seminars by several other speakers, and clips from other Feast activities.

Included by Pam:

A Night at the Museum

As Christians, we cannot choose to hide ourselves from view. Like it or not, we are all on display for the world. This seminar will explore whether we should aspire to be an Exhibit ... or an Example.

Goodbye Yellow Brick Road

Many Christians go through life like the Tin Man, the Cowardly Lion, and the Scarecrow. They keep seeking a path to some place special to get equipped for service. This seminar will help you realize you don't need that Man Behind the Curtain. You just need to find... what you already have!

Writer's Workshop : Ron Dart and Pam Dewey Two Sessions

The world is very much in need of more gifted, equipped writers with a solid Christian world view. These workshops are for all writers, whether your specialty is fiction or non-fiction, and whether you are aiming at audiences of children, teens, or adults. The presenters and participants in the sessions on this video will help you sharpen your skills as they share their own experiences and insights related to the writing craft.

Times of Refreshing

This seminar gives a lively, brief introduction to the joys and purposes of keeping the biblical Feasts. It is designed to be a bit like the Jews For Jesus' "Christ in the Passover" presentations they do across the country, which are so popular with many Protestant and Catholic churches. As presented at the FOT itself, it was intended for three purposes ... 1. To provide a non-threatening introduction to the Feasts for the family members of COG folks who may have come along to the Feast as a vacation. 2. To introduce the basic idea to the public. 3. To give long-time COGers a new perspective on how they might use the Feasts as non-legalistic tools of evangelism and discipleship.

*****CEM Memorial Day/Pentecost Weekend Family Retreat 2007: 2 DVD set of seminars by Pam and others, as well as extended clips from the Family Dance, Bible Times Bazaar, and more.

Included By Pam:

Who Has the Key?

Just getting away from Egypt didn’t make the Israelites a truly “free” people. Jesus told the Pharisees that merely having Abraham as their forefather didn’t mean they were free either. And accepting the blood of Jesus to cover our sins and promise us eternal life doesn’t mean that we as Christians are living daily as free people either. We can shackle ourselves with bad habits, unhealthy attitudes, and poor choices. If that describes you sometimes, find out in this seminar what can truly set you free.

Wouldn’t Now Be a Good Time …?

“Rabbi, we’ve been waiting all our lives for the Messiah. Wouldn’t now be a good time for him to come?” That famous line from Fiddler on the Roof echoed the question of the disciples to Jesus: “Lord, will you at this time again restore the kingdom to Israel?” People are still asking the same question… and even setting dates by when they are sure He will do so. This seminar explores what His answer might be if we asked Him the same question today.
